Elmer "Bong" Quintana was honored with the Best Paper Presenter award during the 3rd International Conference on Multidisciplinary Approach for Sustainable Society (ICMASS-2024) in Singapore. His research, *'Exploring Trends and Challenges in the Philippine Tourism Industry through Visualization Analytics,'* was one of 63 selected from 100 submissions. The paper, inspired by Boy Abunda's insights on promoting the Philippines, discussed key tourism trends. Bong, along with co-authors Jefferson A. Costales, Perlita M. Mallari, and Maria Rhoda D. Dinaga, represented Eulogio "Amang" Rodriguez Institute of Science and Technology (EARIST). The two-day conference, organized by Academia Researchlab Pvt. Ltd., focused on global sustainability challenges and solutions.
The Academia Research Lab successfully organized the 3rd ICMASS-2024, held in Singapore. This prestigious event received over 100 paper submissions from more than 11 countries. After a rigorous review process, 67 papers were selected for presentation.The conference brought together 12 attendees, 45 onsite presenters, and 25 virtual presenters, including keynote speakers, chairs, co-chairs, and guest speakers. Over the course of two days, six best paper awards were distributed. Among the highlights was a presentation focusing on sustainability and visualization analytics in the Philippine tourism industry. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our co-host organizations and supporting members for their invaluable contributions to the success of this event.
